I woke up this morning thinking about doing some Christmas shopping when I logged in to my online banking and discovered my bank had deducted all their charges early.. Oh well change of plan. This reminds me of the sketch from Catherine Tate, hence the title.
£42 for being overdrawn for TWO, yes TWO days made up of Paid Fees, Interest, Unauthorised Overdraft Usage blah blah blah. Come on Mr Bank Manager its Christmas, season of goodwill, so I overspent by a few quid.
I wouldn’t have minded but normally any charges come out on the last day of the month, which incidentally is not a bank working day. This is the same bank who’s computers have crashed several times recently leaving people stuck in checkout queues not able to pay for shopping, or being arrested at petrol stations for allegedly “nicking” fuel when their cards didn’t work. Oh and countless times they have been hacked, cash machines out of action but the boss of RBS still gets his Christmas bonus!!
Methinks time for a Bank that gives a sh*t in 2014 – anyone got any suggestions?
Bank fraud – committed by banks by taking your money when THEY like.
Update.. I am now moving over to TSB. Bye bye Nat West you’ve lost a business and personal customer
